Nanaimo Built. BC Bound.
That’s our new tag line, but it’s also business as usual for us.
Some people think that because Nanaimo Precast manufactures concrete products on an island that our delivery capacity is limited. Not true. In fact, if we were able to attach beacons to our products, chances are you’d be seeing us in places you may not have expected to.
Yes, we’ve delivered concrete holding tanks to Coombs, Cedar, Errington and Parksville, but we’ve also been busy delivering concrete bridge panels to Smithers. Just in the past few months you’d have seen trucks loaded with concrete septic tanks heading to Saanich, Crofton, Qualicum Beach and Courtenay, not to mention over 300 tons of Redi-Rock to Nanoose Bay and Youbou. You’d see custom barriers delivered to Dawson Creek and bridge panels arriving in Prince George. This is more than a “one off” delivery, as Prince George has actually been our strongest market for the past two years! We’ve delivered concrete lamp bases that will light neighbourhoods in Ladysmith and Victoria, and over 25 septic systems that will service families on the Island for years to come.
Savvy project planners have discovered that our Nanaimo location offers an advantage and actually lowers transport costs in many cases. It’s cheaper to put a truck on the ferry than it is to drive it down a stretch of highway. We can barge concrete precast products all along the coast, which means less fuel, lower trucking costs, and a smaller carbon footprint getting them to your site. It also means shorter timelines for your project because everything you need is there when you need it be.
Yes we’re local, but we aren’t small. We have manufacturing and delivery capabilities to match the needs of your project whether it’s building a new home, a new community, or the highway that gets you there.
